Shore Boating School is committed to meeting your boating learning and certification needs; offering a variety of boating classes and in-person, on-water instruction that can be tailored to suit everyone.

If you are looking for an NJ Boating Certificate (aka “boating license” or “jet ski license”), we offer pre-scheduled public classes and private small group classes that we arrange directly with you.

If you seek private boat-handling lessons on your own boat (from docking and boat handling to mastering marine weather), we come to you and work with you to help you master your craft.

We can also assist those ready to obtain their USCG Captain’s license.

The Easiest Way to Meet Your

NJ State Boating Requirements!

This New Jersey boating safety course meets the State’s requirement for basic boater safety education.

Upon your successful completion of the course and exam, you will receive a valid temporary boating safety certificate.

NJ Boating Certificate

If you are looking for a NJ Boating Safety Certificate (aka “Boating License” or “Jet Ski License”), complete the New Jersey Safe Boating Course, which will allow you to operate a boat legally in NJ. This is the course required by law.

Be the captain of your journey. If you are looking for some Private Boat Handling Lessons, we at Shore Boating School will customize boat handling lessons for you and your family on your own boat. Our captains are able to train on variety of boats.

Captain’s Course

Have you always wanted to get your USCG Captain’s license? We can help you. We offer USCG-approved testing online for those looking to become licensed captains. From getting your six-pack to getting your Master’s, we do it all.
